William Hill, the sponsors of the King George VI Chase, have seen more money for the defending champion - Long Run yesterday afternoon. As a result, the sponsors have cut Nicky Henderson’s stable star from 13-8 to 6-4 to defend his Kempton crown. Kauto Star remains the 4-1 second favourite for the race, while Master Minded and Captain Cris are available at 11-2 and 8-1 respectively.

‘Long Run was the most popular of the front runners and we expect to see more support for the defending champion in the lead up to the big day.’
