Jonjo O'Neill's BetVictor Gold Cup 2013 winner Johns Spirit warmed up for that task with a win in the corresponding Marie Curie Cancer Care Handicap Steeplechase and rolling forward a year it was the same story once again.

However in the aftermath, O'Neill was reluctant to commit his hero to a repeat bid.

"I will have to look at the programme book," he said regarding the 5-1 favourite's next task.

"He's easy to get ready and comes to hand quickly.

"This was the plan and we will see about the Paddy Power.

"He just loves this place. He jumped beautifully and Richie (McLernon) gave him a great spin."
