Karl has now moved
into his new yard at Spigot Lodge in Middleham. Spigot Lodge
was previously occupied by Chris Thornton until recently sold by
owner Guy Reed, who has owned the yard for the past 30 years. Spigot
lodge will house 73 horses and is well situated in Middleham being
adjacent to the horse pool and the new gallops and within reach
of 10 flat racecourses.

Alan and Lucy Normile
have been training racehorses from the tranquil surroundings of Duncrievie,
Glenfarg for about three years and have gradually built up a smart,
efficient and friendly racing yard. They have a five furlong all-weather
