Pandorama Cut From 20-1 to 16-1 for RSA Chase Following Debut Win 27/10/09

The Noel Meade trained Pandorama made a winning start to his chasing career on Tuesday afternoon.

The former top class novice hurdler, who was sent off the 2-5 favourite for the Christmas Parties at Punchestown Beginners Chase, looked like he would have to settle for the runners-up spot approaching the last fence, but he eventually battled back in the straight to beat the well regarded Clan Tara by a head.

William Hill reacted to his debut win by cutting Pandorama from 20-1 to 16-1 for the RSA Chase. Mikael D'Haguenet remains the 6-1 favourite for the 3 mile Cheltenham race.

RSA Chase: 6-1 Mikael D'Haguenet, 10-1 Punchestowns, 12-1 Sizing Europe, 14-1 Pride of Dulcote, 16-1 Bensalem, Fiveforthree, Long Run, Pandorama, 20-1 Apt Approach, Catch Me, Diamond Harry, Venalmar, Weapons Amnesty, 25-1 Alfie Sherrin, Gullible Gordon, Others Available (EW 1/4 1,2,3)
