Fame And Glory 4-7 Favourite for Tattersalls Gold Cup – 6 Declared 21/05/2010
Last year’s Irish Derby winner Fame And Glory heads a list of six horses who stood their ground at the 48 hour declaration stage for this Sunday’s Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh. The Aidan O’Brien trained four-year-old will be joined in the race by his stable mate and the likely pacemaker Dixie Music.
Cutlass Bay, who is undefeated in five starts, is rated the 5-2 second favourite for the race. The colt, who will be making his first start for Godolphin, won the Group 1 Prix Ganay on his last start for French trainer Andre Fabre.
Chinese White, Recharge and Halicarnassus complete the sextet for the 1m 2f contest.
