Tanya's Blog - 24th March 2011 The television is on in the background and at the time of writing Ricky Ponting has just won the toss for Australia against India in the ICC World Cup cricket quarter-final. Hard to say who I want to win as my bet for the whole tournament, Pakistan await the winners of this contest. The atmosphere seems electric and hopefully it will be a phenomenal match between these two great teams. I’m on a retrieval mission already as the window cleaner has tucked me up for £15 already! It is only going to be a low-key start on my return as I have scanned the cards today and my form is still on holiday. Chepstow has never been a lucky course to me either, although I laid the course demons to rest with Join Together but that was a short price favourite, need to do better than that today. On scanning the betting movements I have discovered that Blackpool Billy has been backed from 6-1 into 9-2 in Carlisle’s 4.00 and if you like a skinny odds-on American Ladie is likely to open 1-2 and not 4-6 as in the paper. Victory Gunner is my only fancy for the day, yes I am going to that well for a third occasion. He has done us proud on the two previous runs and with Highway Code winning for the stable yesterday all looks set fair.
POINTERS Richard Hannon has had four wins, two seconds and two thirds from his last nine runners
