Tanya's Blog - 6th April 2011

Well it’s only April 6 and already Peter Crouch has usurped Wayne Rooney for idiotic behaviour by a footballer this month! If Tottenham come back from that I think we’ll be given a National holiday to celebrate, yes even the Arsenal fans!!!

Tonight Manchester Utd v Chelsea and general consensus in the office is it will be a draw 0-0 or 1-1, the Tottenham contingent still licking their wounds don’t really care at this point but I’m sure they’ll warm to the task after further ribbing.

Not a bad day for the blog yesterday courtesy of Drybrook Bedouin and Blackstaff, even at starting price it was a nine point profit yesterday! Things are looking up ahead of Aintree and the final decs for the Foxhunters should be in not long after posting this and remember all on TURKO. As for DENMAN at present I would love to take him on at 6-5!

I’m being pestered for my Master’s selections, Mike Weir and Brandt Snedeker each-way have been my success stories, along with Lanny Wadkins and Tom Watson many years ago. This time round I sense some golden oldies such as Fred Couples and Vijay Singh along with youngster Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson will tee up as my picks at this point.

On to today, I don’t like backing favourites but after scanning through the runners, be careful at Nottingham there are lots of non-runners. The two that catch the eye are HAWAAFEZ in Beverley’s 4:10 and STANDOUT in Nottingham’s 4:20.

POINTERS

Marco Botti has had 4 wins, and a second from his last 13 runners

Garry Woodward is a man to follow at Kempton with four wins from his last nine runners

Michael Scudamore has had two winners from his last three Lingfield AW runners

Ryan Moore has had seven winners and four seconds from his last 15 rides
