Tanya's Blog - Wednesday 13th June 2012 Sssssh! The rain has relented briefly in the Sussex, Surrey and Middlesex area. It needs to as I do believe I saw heavy in the going description for Royal Ascot next week. And before you ask, no, I’m not going. Sussex, Surrey, Middlesex, Kent and even Hampshire are a bigger draw than Berkshire for me next week! Not wishing to be a party pooper, plus I know and respect the enormity of Black Caviar and Frankel, but there are tons of other interesting races next week. Why hasn’t anyone asked Donald McCain if he intends to run Overturn in the Ascot Gold Cup. He is entered and he is 33-1, which is huge if he does make the line-up! Pendragon in a seller at Hamilton just doesn’t add up. This time last year he was fourth in the Royal Hunt Cup and a repeat of that would see him turn this evening’s contest into a procession. How good has Euro 2012 been so far? I can’t say my Fantasy Football side is doing so well, most of my players sat on the bench for their first group matches so let’s hope that changes from tonight onwards! I must say that I fancy Portugal against Denmark tonight as they didn’t stop against Germany.
