Rally is back at York so get behind him and pray
Treve has been rated as the fifth best horse in the world according to international ratings. She sits behind the likes of Just A Way, Australia and The Grey Gatsby.
My initial response to this was one of surprise, but it will not taint my opinion that she is one of the best fillies I have ever seen.
The manner in which Criquette Head-Maarek managed her comeback from Royal Ascot where she moved like a cripple was nothing short of sensational.
Her win in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe was a triumph for her turn of foot. The race itself was not run at a break-neck pace, which meant that the likes of Kingston Hill and Taghrooda could adopt prominent positions without using up too much energy. Importantly Treve hugged the inside, which as Gerard Mosse told me in the course walk I did with him for is the place to be on fast ground. This means that those that made up ground out wide did particularly well and this automatically highlights Harp Star. Given the pace of the race she was ridden too patiently, lost ground turning in, but still flashed home widest of all. She would be very interesting if turning up for this race next year, although she does need decent ground.
In the short term I wonder if a crack at the Dubai Sheema Classic could be on the cards, she would take some beating in that. She is 12-1 for next year's Arc with bet365.

The defeat of Cirrus Des Aigles in the Prix Dollar courtesy of the stewards should not color our view of his effort and the Champion Stakes at Ascot looks to be tailormade for him now after this tune up. Australia and the rest will have to be right on their game to beat this warrior. At 3-1 he rates as tremendous value.
I can hardly believe that I am going to tip this horse again here on the blog but here goes. It's your last chance with me Mass Rally, now get out there and win the Coral Sprint at York. A few starts back he was an eye-catching ninth over course and distance, he then had conditions against him in a Listed race back on the Knavesmire and had little chance on ground that was too fast in the Ayr Gold Cup.
Now back to his favourite track and on soft ground his time has come. Back him each-way and pray.
Have a good weekend with us here on .
