Hollie Doyle graced Carlisle's hallowed turf on Bell & Plate Day with her signature finesse and secured victory in an exciting race.

Aboard the 15/2 shot Mostawaa, Doyle held her ground, fending off a valiant challenge from Liamarty Dreams, ultimately clinching the win by a mere half a length.

The seven-year-old Mostawaa, meticulously trained by the accomplished Heather Main, etched his name into history books on a crisp Wednesday. The venerable 16th-century Carlisle Bell was claimed by Doyle, further enhancing the race's reputation as a historic jewel in the racing calendar.

But the story doesn't end there. In a feat unparalleled in the annals of UK racing, Hollie Doyle has now achieved the extraordinary milestone of triumphing at every Flat track across the nation. With each victory, she solidifies her status as a bona fide luminary in the world of horse racing, leaving an indelible mark that will be whispered about for generations to come.

Doyle said of Mostawaa: “He’s turned a corner in his old age. He won at Brighton two starts ago and then he went to York and toughed it out.

"I got a very easy lead that day and things fell right whereas today there was plenty of pace on paper, so you just never know. He stuck to it well on soft ground and I think we can investigate going up to 10 furlongs now.

“It said in the paper that I’d only had about four rides here [at Carlisle] and I thought it was more, but I definitely hadn’t had a winner here up until today. It’s good to get a winner here as it’s a long way to come!”
