A prestigious five furlong race for two-year-olds, which Big Evs claimed last year, is once again set to spotlight a rising sprinter. Notably, the same connections have Big Mojo, a promising contender making just his second start. It’s a bold move to pitch him at Group 3 level so soon, and Tuesday’s maiden might be a more prudent choice.
Aesterius is much too good and wins the Dragon Stakes in superb style under @the_doyler for @Archie_Watson ! 🏆 pic.twitter.com/AgDfQuhdPR

The Dragon Stakes form has had a few minor hiccups, but that’s unlikely to deter Archie Watson from running Aesterius, who cruised to victory at Sandown.
Meanwhile, Adrian Keatley has had Goodwood in his sights for Francisco’s Piece all year, hoping his underwhelming Coventry Stakes run was just a fluke.
