John Gosden saddled subsequent Epsom heroine winner Anapurna to victory 12 months ago and made it two on the spin with Rab Havlin doing the steering on the even-money favourite Miss Yoda.
Things were not plain sailing for the daughter of Sea The Stars, who had won her first two starts and signed off a smart juvenile campaign with a promising second against the boys in the Zetland Stakes at Newmarket.
She was really slowly away after getting a little on her toes beforehand but Havlin played the patient game as she gradually picked up from a mid-pack position in the straight, before staying on strongly to cosily get the better of front-running 66/1 outsider Golden Lips by a length and a quarter.
West End Girl (10/1) took third spot for the in-form Mark Johnston team.
