Leading over a furlong out, the 13-2 shot bounded up the hill to take the colts' Classic over the Rowley Mile from two 100-1 shots, Rebel Rebel and Kandidate.

The pair were successful in the colts' equivalent with Footstepsinthesand on Saturday and the 12-1 shot flew late to capture the fillies' race in some style as she left Maids Causeway toiling back in second.

Haafhd gave trainer Barry Hills and his jockey-son Richard a convincing victory in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket. Haafhd hit the front two furlongs out and the 11-2 shot galloped on strongly to beat Snow Ridge (8-1) by a length and three-quarters, with Azamour (25-1) a further length away in third.
