Anna Salai New Favourite for Irish 1000 Guineas – 19 Declared 21/05/2010
William Hill have re-opened their betting for this Sunday’s Irish 1000 Guineas following the final declarations for the Group 1 contest. The bookies now make the Godolphin filly Anna Salai their 4-1 favourite for the race, with the original favourite Music Show now a 9-2 shot from 7-2.

William Hill spokesman Tony Kenny said “Godolphin have never won the Irish 1000 Guineas, but there seems to be a growing belief that Anna Salai could be the one to break their duck.” He continued “Our original favourite Music Show has been friendless in the market and as a result we’ve pushed her out to 9-2 to 7-2 for Sunday’s race.”
