Cape Blanco 13-8 to Beat Workforce the Next Time They Meet 27/06/10

William Hill has shortened Cape Blanco from 25-1 to 16-1 for the Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe following his half a length victory in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh on Sunday. Hills have also given Cape Blanco an opening show quote of 5-1 for the King George.

The Aidan O’Brien colt beat the subsequent English Derby winner Workforce in the Dante at York, and Hills are offering odds on the potential rematch between the pair. The bookies make Workforce their 4-9 favourite, while Cape Blanco is 13-8 to finish ahead of the Sir Michael Stoute trained colt.’

‘I think everyone in racing is looking forward to the rematch between Cape Blanco and Workforce,’ said William Hill spokesman Tony Kenny ‘We think Workforce will be one to come out on top when the pair meet again, but you never know - there could be more improvement in Cape Blanco.’
