Tanya's Blog - 8th March 2011 There’s a huge jackpot rollover at Exeter today and by inference it will be worth dabbling in the placepot too. As those who call to place the bet are asked if they want it each-way, which they do to try and retrieve small consolation for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow temptation. I’ve had a quick scan through, not wanting to persuade you one way or another but the ‘left field’ two I am including are in the 3.30 1 FLINTOFF (as Venetia Williams is such good form and 7 DRYBROOK BEDOUIN (as I thought he wasn’t ridden as positively as he might have been at Sandown latest) At Newcastle only one glares out at me and that is CATEGORICAL at 4:50. His rider James Reveley rode an immaculate race to win the Grimthorpe Chase for the blog on Saturday on Always Right and his confidence will be booming. Categorical has the same if not better form. The weight won’t bother him he just has to get into some rhythm with his jumping. In his last three runs he has been beaten by Gansey, King Fontaine, Cavers Glen and Fine Parchment. No wonder he is top weight. He is one that could sneak under the radar if not careful. I have just been asked to come up with all the stats for the Festival by tomorrow by my boss, so I’m off to get the head in the books. Good luck on that Jackpot.
POINTERS Martin Keighley has had four winners from his last eight runners
