    Tanya's Blog - 12th January 2012

Apologies for the tardy posting the office has been a bit chaotic there seems to be more ground coffee in on the table than in the filter as the boys in the office are hyper with recent results for their teams, Spurs, Arsenal and Crystal Palace. However I grin with satisfaction as I lead them all in the Fantasy Football.

At present rather than concentrating on what they are doing it is a contest on who has met the most famous footballer and what is the best autograph they own.

There isn’t much I fancy today but I will be paying an interest to Uncle Bryn in Catterick’s 12.45, Creekside is too short for me now at 8-11. And I would be intrigued to see how River D’Or runs I thought it was an extremely heavy fall last time and I would be against him.

Two non-runners in Fontwell’s first race and favourite Johnny Owen has drifted badly from odds-on to around 13-8 on the exchanges. Kowloon is catching the eye in the market and may be the answer in a tricky race.

Big news in the office today is that Trevor the cat got stuck behind the oven extractor fan so his owner Nick, my colleague and one of the assistant producers went in to great detail into how he extracted said kitty in careful and delicate manner.

Then Nick reminds us that it is 61 days until the Cheltenham Festival, something I don’t need to be prompted about.

Nick Luck has just walked into the office to discuss the early part of this week in racing for Saturday’s Morning Line. Guests are due to be Brendan Powell Snr and Jnr which will make for excellent viewing.

On a more serious note I have weighed in on the PGA Tour this week, still in Hawaii but this time with a bigger field, I have gone with Chad Campbell, Chris Kirk and Harrison Frazar.
