Kieren Fallon to Ride Al Zir in Derby

Kieren Fallon has been booked by Godolphin to ride Al Zir in the Investec Derby, Britain’s premier Classic, on Saturday, June 5.
Al Zir is one of Godolphin’s three intended runners in the Investec Derby at Epsom Downs, with Frankie Dettori confirmed as Rewilding’s jockey and Ahmed Ajtebi switching to Buzzword.
Simon Crisford, Godolphin’s racing manager, commented on Tuesday, June 1: "Kieren Fallon’s record in the Derby is excellent.
"He was available and has ridden for Godolphin before."
Kieren Fallon, successful in the Derby three times, has ridden three winners for Godolphin from 15 rides.
Ahmed Ajtebi is Buzzword’s usual jockey.
