Go racing at Ayr in 2005 and enjoy the best value ever on offer at the Craigie track.

Annual membership is pegged at £195 for a minimum 26 days racing and superb discounts are available on ALL meetings if tickets are booked seven days or more in in advance.

And for the first time ever the Senior Citizens and Young Persons Discount is extended to include all three major meetings - the Scottish Grand National and Ayr Gold Cup Festivals and Scottish Derby Day.

Membership at Ayr stands at around 800 and is increasing steadily as more and more racegoers take advantage of the terrific facilities on offer. Members have their own bar where they can listen to a talk on each day’s racing from a journalist, racing personality, trainer or jockey, there will be a members’ newsletters plus special exclusive offers.

And it’s also never been so good for Senior Citizens and for 16-24 year olds who can take advantage of Ayr’s concession scheme. If they book seven days or more in advance they will be given £6 off entry plus receive a racecard on the day. And that offer is available for every raceday.

Most racecards in 2005 will include special discount offers covering items like £1 off a drink at the bar or money off snacks in the restaurants on course, adding even more to the value of a day at Scotland’s premier race course.

And in another new initiative from the Ayr Executive a special six month membership is being introduced after the Scottish Derby meeting in July covering the remaining 13 days racing for 2005 and costing just £110.

Ayr Racecourse General Manager William Gorol in announcing the value for money scheme said : "We had a great 2004, with increased attendances and we want to continue to give our racegoers the very best value for money and with our new price structure for 2005 we feel we can stand comparison to any other course in Britain."

"No other course with big festival meetings offers concessions on these days - but we will do that. And with our special racecard offers there will be something for everyone to enjoy."
