Kauto Star Now Evens for William Hill King George following Imperial’s Defection 06/12/10
William Hill, the sponsors of the King George VI Chase, have re-issued prices for the Boxing Day feature following the news that the Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Imperial Commander will not be taking his place in the line-up.

In Imperial Commander’s absence, the betting firm have cut Kauto Star from 11-8 to Evens, Long Run (from 5-1) to 7-2 and Forpadydeplasterer (from 8-1) to 6-1) – amongst others.
‘It’s a real shame that Imperial Commander is going to miss the King George,’ said Kate Miller from the big race sponsors William Hill ‘Hopefully it’s nothing serious and we’ll see him back in time for the Cheltenham Festival.’
‘His absence only strengthens Kauto Star’s claims for a fifth King George – and we’ve shorted Paul Nicholls star from 11-8 to Evens for the race.’
