Two For One Deal at Ayr Racecourse's Victor Chandler New Year Festival 16/12/10

Ayr Racecourse stages the Victor Chandler New Year Festival on Sunday January 2 and Monday January 3 with seven races each day.

And bosses at Scotland's premier racecourse are offering a special two for one deal on tickets booked by Thursday December 23.

The opening day's action is due off at 12.20 pm with the European Breeders' Fund 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle race over two miles four furlongs.

Feature race of the afternoon is the Play Poker At Victorchandler.com Handicap Chase over two miles four furlongs with prize money of £7800. The final race on the afternoon is the Best Odds Guaranteed At Victor Chandler Novices' Handicap Hurdle over three miles.

But the fun doesn't end there covers band Sistrum play for three hours after racing in the Horseshoe Bar within the Princess Royal Stand.

A juvenile maiden hurdle sets the ball rolling on the second day of the New Year Festival at 12.30 pm and like the previous afternoon there are seven races.

The main events are a Novices Chase over two miles and a Handicap Chase over three miles one furlong. A National Hunt flat race ends the on course action at 3.40 pm.
