William Hill and Racing Post Spark a Betting Revolution

William Hill and the Racing Post have created a first with a ground-breaking iPhone app. The Racing Post application, which is currently the most popular horse racing app in the App Store, now boasts seamless betting directly from Britain’s biggest bookmaker William Hill.

In short, it means you can browse Racing Post’s renowned news, tips and data, make an informed decision about which horse to back in a race and then place a bet simply by tapping the William Hill odds on the racecard. The race can then be followed with the Live Reporter function.
It adds up to a completely unique product in the mobile betting market.
“We’ve seen over 200,000 downloads of our free app since we launched and the feedback has been excellent,” said Mark Renshaw, Head of Online for Racing Post. “When we surveyed our iPhone app users earlier this year, betting through the app was requested and we soon undertook a process to find a suitable betting partner. Over the last few months we’ve worked hard with William Hill to develop, test and refine the process and it has impressed everyone who’s seen it. It’s truly revolutionary.”
