Sweet Solera Winner Cut for 1,000 Guineas Coral has slashed Discourse to 8-1 second favourite (from 20-1) for next year's Qipco 1,000 Guineas, following her impressive win in this yesterday's Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket.
"Discourse was an impressive winner of the Group Three Sweet Solera, and on what we have seen so far, deserves her prominent position in the betting for next year's 1,000 Guineas, although punters will be hoping she has better luck than last year's Sweet Solera winner, her stablemate White Moonstone, who missed the Fillies' Classic," said Coral's David Stevens. Elsewhere, Kieren Fallon is 10-3 (from 5-1) with Coral for the Flat Jockeys' title, behind Paul Hanagan and Silvestre De Sousa, 11-8 and 6-4 respectively. "Kieren Fallon has made his intentions clear as far as the title race is concerned, and punters were quick to take the 5-1 on offer, making this season's championship a three horse race once again," said Coral's David Stevens. **2012 Qipco 1,000 Guineas **Flat Jockeys' Championship **Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes **Ebor **Ladbrokes St Leger **Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe **Breeders' Cup Classic **2012 Qipco 2,000 Guineas **2012 Investec Derby |
