Looking Good for Style Contest Day

The Looking Good Style Contest is back on Ladies’ Day at
the 2005 John Smith’s Grand National meeting (Friday 8th April).
Once again, the most stylish racegoer at Aintree on Ladies’ Day
will drive home a fantastic Jaguar worth over £20,000.

the most stylish racegoer at Aintree on Ladies’ Day will drive
home a fantastic Jaguar worth over £20,000.
2005 will be the third year that the popular Contest is staged. In 2004, over 750 entrants took to the catwalk on Ladies’ Day, with the eventual winner, Kate Hallam of Buxton, driving home a Jaguar X-TYPE Estate.
Entries to the 2005 Contest are already being accepted with many racegoers pre-registering by picking up a leaflet from the racecourse or from one of the many participating Liverpool retailers. Applications can also be made online at www.aintree.co.uk. As an additional incentive, all pre-registered entrants will receive a complimentary £10 Andrew Collinge voucher. There is also a prize draw for pre-registered entrants to win a VIP make-over at an Andrew Collinge Salon on the morning of the Contest. The lucky winner will be chauffeured in a VIP Jaguar (with a friend) to the salon, where they will enjoy a champagne breakfast and then driven to the racecourse in time for the Contest.
Entry to the Style Contest will also be open on the day itself. Racegoers must be at the racecourse by 12noon, where they will be given an entry number and asked to parade in front of a panel of judges. Five finalists will once again be selected and hosted in a VIP area before the final presentation at 4:30pm.
