Tanya's Blog - 12th April 2011 Green’s restaurant in London was the location last night for a simply tremendous evening to celebrate Big Buck’s winning three Ladbrokes World Hurdles. A glittering guest list including the main protagonists, the Stewart Family, Paul Nicholls, Ruby Walsh and some of the real grafters, the stable staff all mingled with the hierarchy of Ladbrokes and to think I was fortunate and privileged to join in on the festivities. You know when an evening is great when every draw is a good one and I was opposite Edward Gillespie and in between Anthony Bromley and Paul Stewart, quite what they did to deserved to be lumbered with me I don’t know, but it was a superb evening. Apologies for tipping Take Your Partner yesterday, if I realised it was going to be 1-5 I would never have flagged it up. At least it won. There isn’t much to get excited about today, hardly surprising with Newmarket’s Craven meeting on the horizon sprinkled with a bit of Cheltenham, Greenham at Newbury and Scottish National at Ayr. However I have dug up a couple on the all weather, PRECOCIOUS KID in Southwell’s 2.40 and BRABAZON in Wolverhampton’s 3.50.
POINTERS Alan Bailey has had five winners and a second from his last eight runners
