Leading Trainers at the Cheltenham Festival

Tuesday 14th - Friday 17th March 2023

Horses 468x60 Jpg

With six wins and 21 placed finishes in total, Willie Mullins was out on his own at the top of the standings in the Craft Irish Whiskey Co. Leading Trainer Award 2023.

Henry de Bromhead was in second place with four winners for the week. A wonderful achievement for the de Bromhead family, who gave us the most emotional win of the week with Rachael Blackmore aboard Honeysuckle on day one.

Gordon Elliott had a fine week himself with three winners over the four days, while Nicky Henderson had to make do with a sole victory through Constitution Hill.

Paul Nicholls rounded out a top five dominated by Irish trainers.
